The Ongoing, Neverending Story is an ‘English Day’ activity held at GUST. Welcoming all students, instructors, and visitors alike, it aims at creating a collaborative story which would reflect their thoughts and ideas, as well as having fun.
This ‘English Day’ activity has been created by a student, also the ‘Contemporary English Club’ president Yousef ‘Q8BKman’ A. Mustafa and run by himself, the club members, and few outsiders. Ever since the first ‘English Day’ at GUST (Spring semester 2010/2011), this activity has been a success – which is why it’s being held on the other ‘English Days’ that followed.
We’ll always thank all participants for their random, yet fate-determining contributions to the stories. If it weren’t for them, the stories wouldn’t have been what they are now.

English Day was definitely amazing with the ONS! I had so much fun and seriously, every time I read the on-going story, I start laughing like crazy! Great work guys for providing such excellent copy of the ONS! :D
It’s really nice to know it was worth the effort, thank you! :)
Though it’s a bit sad knowing that we were barely mentioned on GUST’s page of the English Day! :/ But we’re enjoying it; so, mission complete! :p
This was my favorite booth at English Day, you guys were friendly and bright, and the idea itself of having an ongoing story is brilliant. Keep it up and I hope to see you in next years english day!
Oh, if it isn’t lil red riding hood! :)
Ummm, thanks for the nice words, I guess. And as for future ONS activities … we’re not sure if there will be any. :/
You see, Yousef might be graduating before next year, he might not be there when they make the next english day. And since most CEC club members participate in other activities during that day (like you :p), they don’t have time for this activity. … So, yeah, unless the CEC picks up this activity, it’s gonna die. :(
